Too funny, this site got the piercing white-hot spotlight on none other than Portal Of Evil:Semi-literate high school kids who play too much Doom create a bizarre online role-playing game where they can Columbine to their heart's content. Vindictive Lot
Alien Vendetta updates with this:After two months of wrapping up we are ready to set a final release date; The 24'th this month will be our choice. There is still a few lindefs to flip in Kim's map23, but he is working on it intensively (with two guardians close by with a solid grip on his neck to make sure the damn thing is making progress :P) Aside from this Anthony Soto is completing a creation by Lee Szymanski which, according to the latest report, will be complete within this week. As a side note, this page and its screenshot section is alltogether outdated. We'll have a new page design ready to go before the 24'th as well. Next update should follow as this one is put up. Looks like 5 days to go then. :-)

News Of New Doom
id Software Artist Kevin Cloud is interviewed over on the Dteam site. There are a few references to the New Doom, including this quote from Kevin:I guess every game comes with limitations, but I don’t see that DOOM presents any more limitations because it is a sequel. It will take place in the DOOM universe, but the goal is not to recreate some aspect of the original game. When people first played DOOM they felt more "inside" the game than ever before - like it was a real place. Players physically reacted to fear or surprise with jumping, ducking, and dodging in their chair. Looking at DOOM today I think id will be able to deliver again on that feeling of being more in the game than ever before. Want more? Be sure to check out the rest.

While looking through the forums here at Newdoom I found a topic started by Kaiser. He has made a little game which is like pacman but not quite. Hence the name cacoman. You can grab the file from Here. By the way take a look at kaiser's page DSV Outworld.
