     GBA Doom II Reviewed
Posted by Jason 'FACE.UK' Sloan at 4:58 PM
    Category: General

Gamers Hell have posted a review of Doom II on the GameBoy Advance. Here is a snip
Eight years ago Doom 2 took the world by storm on the PC. The productivity all over the world decreased because of it, since it was the best action game up to that point. On the Gameboy Advance we’ve had the chance to play games like Wolfenstein 3D and Ecks vs. Sever, but neither have been especially amazing games. Doom 2, which is one of the very few 128Mbit (tons of textures etc) games out there, which not only has better graphics than practically any Gameboy Advance game, but also includes good gameplay and audio effects that should satisfy any fan of the genre.
Check out the full review HERE.

Posted by Jason 'FACE.UK' Sloan at 1:54 PM
    Category: id Software

Does anyone remember when everyone was taking a wild guess at what the name of the Doom III site would be? Well.... I do not have that answer for you but one of the favourites was a site called UA-Corp. This has been registered with id.software and updated with a picture of Mars. Below this picture it says Union Aerospace Corporation, leading the way to a better future. Inbetween these two sentnces it lists the products of this fictional company which are as follows. Energy, Defense, Aerospace and Biosearch. The register information for the site also shows 'Database last updated on 6-Nov-2002 15:06:46 EST'. I will leave you to draw your own conclusions.

This was originally going to be based on a Doom64 level, although now it looks more like it will be based off of many different Doom64 ideas. Ike also says that he is unhappy with the texture scheme that he has implemented and if anyone has any suggestions then please email him.
