Included on this page are such classics as the original FAVA wad and a bunch of levels created by Wes Burd, A.K.A. Wolfy - one of the best and most complicated level makers I've ever had the pleasure of knowing.
Head along and check it all out.

X-DOOM has updated his page with news on ZDoom3000. The game has been 4 years in the making and will need it's own port which is a modified ZDoom port. It will look more like Half-Life in style rather than Quake 2, but set in space. There are 5 chapters and only ten maps left to make. X-DOOM has also said that it could be ready for christmas. Take a look at this fantastic project at X-Doom.

 Doom III In PC Gamer
Posted by Jason 'FACE.UK' Sloan at 1:09 AM
Category: General

Okay I have this from a good source that the christmas edition of PCGamer contains about 10 pages of information. There's a shot of the editing tool that the developers are using that will also be included with the game when it is released. Screenshots also include the Doom guy (without his helmet), Hell Knight, Arch-Vile, Imp, and some new shots of the Pink demon and the fat and thin zombies. The mancubus, revenant, and commando (heavy weap dude) are also confirmed to be in the game.

There most likely won't be a railgun, but most/all the weapons from the original Doom will be there, including: Chainsaw, pistol, shotgun, plasma, BFG, rocket launcher, chaingun. Grenades are also mentioned.
An interesting bit of info is that there WON'T be a Use key.
PCGamer also interviews John Carmack regarding the fact that he's lately been losing interest in games and is hoping to be more fully involved with his pet project Armadillo Aerospace.
I hope that last bit is a joke. Anyway This will be all in the christmas edition of PCGamer. Book your copy NOW!

 John's Wad Re-Review
Posted by Jason 'FACE.UK' Sloan at 4:15 PM
Category: General

Doom Wad Review has updated with this:
Ok, all of you who have read the review on Sacrifice In Blood need to read it again. My first review was ill written, i apologize for that, main reason is because I read another review that said the same thing, so i simply agreed with him, before actually taking the time to play through the entire wad, on my own, on ultra Violence to see if what they said was right, and they were wrong.
Better check it out at Doom Wad Review

 Karthik News
Posted by Jason 'FACE.UK' Sloan at 1:08 AM
Category: General

Karthik82.com has got this news on his latest level.
There weren't any updates on the site for the past two days. Why? Because I have been working on my Doom II map Congestion Control any time I could spare. And the good thing is that the level is almost done! If you want a numerical estimate I would say it is 95% complete, and I think I will be able to release it sometime this weekend if all goes well (you will be able to get it from the same page that the screenshots/info are currently on). And believe me, there is going to be a lot of cool stuff in this level!
There it is from the man himself.

Take a look round the site at Doom Rampage and check out some of the screenshots.

 DC Doom And More
Posted by Jason 'FACE.UK' Sloan at 12:54 PM
Category: General

Some of you who visit our forums may have noticed a thread in which DC Doom was mentioned. Well today I had an email from XDelusion in which he not only mentioned Doom but a whole host of others.
I am sure those who can bear to tear themselves away from DOOM Legacy, will have a lot of phun with the DC ports of DOOM, Chex Quest, Heretic, Hexen, Hexen II, Quake, Quake II, and HacX, ect. All ports are still in there early stages, but development is moving along quickly, infact the SDL lib has just been ported to the DC and a non-customized demo of PrBOOM running on the DC has just been released to show off how easily SLD games can be ported, though I have not been able to get the binary to download as of yet.
Well sounds good for Dreamcast owners everywhere. 3d shooting galore.
